What I Love About Feb
Category: Seasons
February breezed in one fine morning in the beautiful 70s, cool and crisp, which brought about gladness and longing for more of the same. Still it holds to this day, on a radiant Saturday morning, with a gentle chill that clarifies the mind, that's just the sort of thing that anyone would want for herself, to begin, anew, the daily business of living.
There's nothing wrong with Feb -- it is the month of the heart, that conjures this image of endless flowers in season to bloom that by now are prepping themselves to be given and taken in love very soon. Then you feel all that loving vibe in the air, when everyone becomes mindful, even if only for a day. And for being the least tedious month, because 28, or even occasionally 29 days, is still a lot less days than the usual, February is just light and a breeze.
Soon it's gonna be the birthday of my daughter, an ultra-sensitive, intellectual Piscean, who, combined with curly black hair makes for a unique and beautiful person all her own. Then there will be globally significant events that I wouldn't want to miss for lesser things -- Grammies, the Oscars, and all the endless aftershow talks I'm bound to watch on television, for which American Idols preoccupation will take a backseat. The new Year Of The Pig and all that chinoiserie. And then there will be chocolates. Because even if they're hardly not a thing out of the daily, to receive them on the day that matters most, make them even better. And sweeter. These, among other things, are the best about February.

I too love February....
hello editrixia,
ikagugulantang is relative, like it can be good naman for a change diba. are you sensing that santa claus will make a delayed christmas bonus for all of us and give us 10,000 bucks each? ;)
i really hope it's not about elections or terrorism or coups because those are really so tired na (as we are) and we've really had it up to here, haven't we?
anyway, magpaganda na lang tayo, diba :)
