Almost Like The Golden Globes

I wish I had something to write about the Golden Globes but no, for we had to leave midway through the program to pick-up an in-law out on a day pass from rehab for the first time in 9 months. I thought no fair! because he had it in mind to watch a couple of movies as possible to squeeze into his 12 hours of freedom, while I had planned to watch the Golden Globes, but was missing out on account of him. Hmm. The perils of rehab.
Yes, I caught Tom Hanks being annoying, while giving tribute to Warren Beatty, that afforded a few fleeting glimpses of gowns and tuxedos and Brad and the beautiful Angelina, that's all. But it's just as well, about my lack of a post, because nobody could have written about watching the Golden Globes better than this, which is heartbreaking, but warming for the way you marvel at people who have it in them to tell the loveliest stories out of the everyday.
