No More Wet

This morning it began in the east, as it always does, when finally the sun made, initially, what seemed an heroic effort to take a peek, in between jagged breaks in what is predominantly still a dark, uncompromising sky. From that bruising grey expanse came rain, lots and lots of it, that washed away the previous weekend's plans, yet somehow made up for by Monday and Tuesday, having been declared no-school days (no-work days in some places), to damage control whatever Glenda decided to leave in her wake for all that non-stop heavy rain, that hopefully made life a little less harsh for wayfaring people and those who try to make a living.

And then we know that all things come to end, most of all, unexpected breaks, wet misery for the homeless, the breaking of umbrellas (we broke two of ours), and a typhoon (why do they always have to be women?) that damages.

Today, Wednesday, should see that a little sun will go a long way.
