Nice

21 years of being married does not bring a huge impact on daily wifely life, seemingly. Sure you know that double digits and counting is a good number to be leaning back on, these days, but you soon forget all about it. In fact, you take it for granted so much so that you are only aware of how deeply it's embedded in your consciousness whenever a morning gone awry happens, like today.
If your morning involves a semi-major breach with time where you are suddenly late for an important appointment, and a loud argument with husband ensues that does not merit such extreme reaction such as 'I've had it!', or 'This means divorce!', but involves extremely irritating, teeth-gritting annoyance, that wants to get even by turning off the cellphone, not coming home from 11 am till after dinner time, which gives ample hours to hit the bookstores, maybe two movies, a foot spa, and other miscellaneous shopping, then you know what's happening here.
The great thing is, he left his wallet in my bag, I have all the cash, and he's got none with him.
Hah. Nice.
