why are we fascinated with quizzes? simple. it beats going to a shrink any day. now there are so many kinds of quizzes one could take. some are grounded on psychology and the answers to the questions given point out to a certain profile or persona . others are based on answers matching the pictures the author might fancy, others are too bizarre to even contemplate where they are coming from, and most are really nothing but crap and we all know it. but then, we are tempted to take the quiz ( come on, you know you are ) because it strokes our ego,
it is all about us. yes, these computer generated answers are so spot-on with who/what we are ( or who/what we want to believe we are ) and it is just easier to get carried away with believing, even if just for the 3 minutes it took to answer the quiz. yeah, why the hell not? after all, it's free. besides, you get to blog with a picture. as for myself, i have discovered that i am actually a rose if i were a flower, i am a snicker if i were a chocolate, i am # 2 if i were a number, i am an exhibitionist if i were a porn star, i am a haiku if i were a poem, i am bitch if i were a swear word, etc. etc. etc. see i am so many things i never knew i was. and today i found out one more thing ....
I am the Siren
A man is often secretly oppressed by the role he has to play - by always having to be responsible, in control, and rational. The Siren is the ultimate male fantasy figure because she offers a total release form the limitations of his life. In her presence, which is always heightened and sexually charged, the male feels transported to a realm of pure pleasure. In a world where women are often too timid to project such an image, learn to take control of the male libido by embodying his fantasy.
Symbol: Water. The song of the Siren is liquid and enticing, and the Siren herself is fluid and ungraspable. Like the sea, the Siren lures you with the promise of infinite adventure and pleasure. Forgetting past and future, men follow her far out to sea, where they drown.
Wow I'm a mermaid, I knew it.
