Blog-A-Day Tour

I started this blog mainly to acquire the habit of writing. The most I really aimed for is to write something for 21 consecutive days because I read somewhere that it takes 21 repetitions to make a habit. It is, more than anything, a literary exercise. I'm now past 21 postings and it seems that I now have me a brand new habit so it proves the premise (of 21 repetitions) to be true.

What I like about this whole thing, apart from the writing, is that I'm learning HTML, which for a non-computer geek like me sounds like a big deal. And then I like the thought that I get to write something everyday, even if I find myself running out of things to say sometimes. More importantly, I've made a few 'bloggie friends' who for me turns blogging into not just a literary exercise but a pleasurable experience as well.

By chance I stumbled upon Laurence Simon's Amish Tech Support's 2003 Blog A Day Tour, and wants to take it on the road by posting from other host blogs everyday for one year. A splendid idea, actually. And so, I invited him to post on this blog and he willingly obliged. It sounds fun and exciting and hopefully I'd be able to invite my other bloggie friends to post here in the future. Meanwhile, I'll be on blogging day off tomorrow. Watch out for Laurence right here.
